In 2005, Authoria engaged in several internally run Webcasts as its primary lead-generation activities, in addition to other lead-generation methods, such as e-mail and tradeshows. The Webcasts generated a significant number of quality leads, and Authoria was convinced that Webcasts are a great platform to share expertise and best practices. The company also saw that Webcasts could establish Authoria as a thought leader in talent management, and that Webcasts could occupy a central place in their lead-generation plan.

But the technical aspect of producing a Webcast campaign and its related collateral proved too much for Authoria—they were concerned about the resources required, technical failures and, ultimately, the production quality of the live event.

Solution

Authoria engaged Bulldog Solutions to produce a lead-generation Webcast, removing the registration and technical burdens from Authoria’s plate and introducing new elements of lead nurturing and engagement. The Webcast focused on Authoria’s recruiting solution and was promoted via industry newsletters and Web sites, as well as Authoria’s and other industry e-mail lists.
